I just wanted to let you know that I am doing my best to get the cards done and out. We had to wait to get our schedule and other forms printed. The cards are all printed out by me at home, not sent away, so it is all very time consuming. No matter when you renewed, they still do not go out until everything is ready. Hello everybody,
Just a quick reminder that your membership renewals are due. If you do not get them in by March 1st you may risk losing your number. As you should all know, your numbers are only held until March 1st — after that, they open back up and anyone waiting can take over your number.
Of course we still have until April before our first race, so keep sending them in and let’s not have the long line we had last year (over 400 memberships in one day is a little bit much!). There’s no reason to wait for the first race to renew - get it in as soon as possible.
I will begin mailing out the cards by next week. So be on the lookout!

Here are the year end points. Please check them over and let me know if there are any questions.
There were quite a few ties. In that case, we count the # of wins, # of 2nds, # of 3rds, etc until the tie is broken. In the case of there still being a tie, we then look at the result of the 2nd moto of the last race each rider rode in.
Please make sure your name is spelled right. These are the results that will be printed in the Knobby News - look now, because there is nothing to be done after it’s printed.
The Banquet is January 31st, 2010 at Anthony’s Pier 9. Top Ten trophies will be awarded.

Here are the points from Southwoods. It was announced on here, on the message board and posted at the sign up booth that as of September 15th, riders not running their assigned numbers would not receive their points for the final races of the season. A few of you were affected by this recent MSC decision, and were not awarded your points.
I realize it is late in the season, but it was voted on by the MSC committee that this is what was to be done. For those of you who do not have the correct number on your bike, please fix your numbers or at least use a paper plate on your bike so that I can give you your points.

Hello to everyone,
At our recent MSC Meeting, it was discussed that there is an unusual situation of borrowing bikes this year………The big problem is this–Championship Points are awarded when the contestant’s machine displays the rider’s current MSC number. We have been most understanding. Riders have listed their MSC numbers on their data card. But the bike is a different number.
Beginning this week at South Woods, the grace period is over. Riders must display on their bike their correct MSC Numbers. You can even use a paper plate taped on your borrowed bike. Whatever works for you. But display your MSC number on the borrowed bike so you will be scored using your MSC number and receive your MSC POINTS. Spread the word!

All MSC TRACKS have agreed that the 125cc 2 stroke Class will be strictly for the 125cc 2 stroke bikes. No other bikes allowed in the class, (such as 100cc). Sorry for any inconvenience. This class was offered for the 125cc 2 stroke bikes. It is a trophy class, and is not an MSC Point Class.

South Woods Sportsmen - September 20th. As previously mentioned, the printer left out the South Woods date of September 20th. Later schedules that were mailed out included the South Woods date, but early schedules did not include the 20th for South Woods. Our web schedule has always had the date listed. So, please make this change if you have not done so……….
